Over & Under Double rifle
This over-and-under double rifle, produced in 1940 in cooperation with the traditional Berlin gunsmith firm O. Geyger, is one of the more interesting collaborations in the Schiwy archives. Constructed with modified Purdey-pattern sidelocks and matched three-ring Krupp barrels, it is fitted into a walnut burl stock and features the hallmark Schiwy arabesque engraving across both action and furniture. Its calibre is 7x65R. Though less famous than some of the house’s solo creations, it demonstrates both technical mastery and decorative finesse — a reflection of pre-war excellence in German gunmaking.
